Addictions Recovery Centers of Indiana, Inc.

SERVICES: Addictions Recovery Centers of Indiana, Inc., provides outpatient services that are related to the misuse of one or more substances. Their scope of practice is for adult populations only, defined as persons being 18 years of age or older. Enrollment in ARC programs requires a current clinical evaluation from a recognized addictions provider.  Program length and intensity is aligned to the severity of the identified problem. ARC accepts referrals from courts, probation, attorneys, employers, family members and persons seeking services of their own accord.

B.A.B.E Program - Whitley County

SERVICES: Expectant parents or parents of young infants or children can earn coupons from many doctors and educational programs in the community by attending appointments or reaching a goal previously set. Earned coupons can then be used in the BABE Boutique to buy clothing, furnishings, and other essential items such as diapers and wipes.

DCS - Community Partners for Child Safety

SERVICES: The purpose of Community Partners for Child Safety (CPCS) is to provide a secondary child abuse prevention service that can be delivered in every region in the state. This service will build community resources in order to have a collaborative prevention network throughout each region. The service will be for those families that are identified through self-referral or other community agency referral. Family and Social Services - Division of Mental Health and Addiction

SERVICES: The Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) sets care standards for the provision of mental health and addiction services to Hoosiers. DMHA is committed to ensuring that clients have access to quality services that promote individual, family and community resiliency and recovery. The division also certifies all community mental health centers and addiction treatment services providers. DMHA operates six psychiatric hospitals (Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital, Evansville Psychiatric Children’s Center, Evansville State Hospital, Logansport State Hospital, Madison State Hospital and Richmond State Hospital). DMHA provides funding support for mental health and addiction services to target populations with financial need and administers federal funds earmarked for substance abuse prevention projects.

SERVICES: Drug-Free Hoosiers guides workplaces in Indiana through the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive Drug-Free Workplace strategy. One component of this strategy emphasizes support and awareness. These therapeutic work environments provide employment for recovering employees who demonstrate abstinence and have shown not only to promote a continued drug-free lifestyle but also to improve job skills, punctuality, and other behaviors necessary for active employment throughout life. Drug-Free Hoosiers provides workplaces with the most current, evidential-based employee education before it impacts a workplace. Supervisor training that helps to identify an employee at risk and to how to effectively manage substance abuse in the workplace. Other classes focus on working parents and how they can communicate with their children to keep their kids drug free. We are dedicated to changing attitudes about drug use, educating employees about health risks, and effectively changing unhealthy behaviors in our workplaces to make a sustainable impact.

Healthy Families Indiana

SERVICES: Healthy Families Indiana is a voluntary home visitation program designed to promote healthy families and healthy children through a variety of services, including child development, access to health care and parent education. By working closely with hospital maternity wards, prenatal clinics and other local agencies, Healthy Families Indiana systematically identifies families that could benefit from education and support services either before or immediately after birth. The program is designed to strengthen families by reducing child abuse and neglect, childhood health problems and juvenile delinquency.

Hoosier Healthwise

SERVICES: Hoosier Healthwise is the State of Indiana's health care program for children and pregnant women with low income. Based on family income, children up to age 19 may be eligible for coverage. HHW covers medical care like doctor visits, prescription medicine, mental health care, dental care, hospitalizations, surgeries and family planning at little or no cost to the member or the member's family.
